Stampin' Up 2011 - 12 Catalogue Launch

I am very excited to announce that there is a new Stampin' Up! Catalogue on the way!

Those of you who have a current Catalogue will understand why they call it a catalogue and idea book as it is a really lovely read with lots of glossy inspirational photos!

I wanted to bring my customers a special offer so they could have the new cattie at a bargain price and as soon as possible!

The catalogues normally sell for £5.95 plus postage but i have a very special offer for you!!

I am able to order catalogues from Thursday Morning and even though the catalogue does not go live until the 1st October I will be sending mine out to you guys as soon as they arrive so you can see what is coming ASAP!

If you would like to order a 2011-12 catalogue the price including postage is just £3.50 if your order is placed before Lunchtime Thursday 1st September (UK only)

A Very Special Offer!!!

Over the last few days i have had a lot of enquiries about the stampin' up punches, namely the SU Scalloped Circle and 1 3/8" Circle punches used to make thses lovely gifts by my best crafty friend Helen!
We both love making little elizabeth shaw mint goodies bags with these, and the ones Helen has done recently (below) are stunning!!

So how can you get yours hands on these little babies i hear you cry!!!
The punches are on page 105 and 106 of the new catalogue (there is a link to the left)

Normally Punches are £14.25 for the 1 3/8" circle and £15.50 for the Scalloped circle (29.75 for the pair) and standard SU postage is £4.95 (total £34.70)
These punches are great quality, they are made for SU by EK success and are in my opinion are the best quality of punch out there.

There is some exciting stuff happening with Stampin' Up!

The 1st of October sees the exciting launch of the new and bigger idea book and catalogue with lots of fab new products for us to drool over! - as a special offer (from me for my customers) if you place an order with me during September I will post you a copy of the New catty for free!!! As soon as they hit the mat!!!

September also sees the retirement of some products so if there is something you have been holding out for it may be worth ordering sooner rather than later to avoid disapointment

During September as well as a free new catalogue, all orders over £25 will also get a little goodie bag containing some scrummy SU Ribbons, embellies and samples - there is a pic of one below but colours may vary slightly

And if 2 freebies are not enough for you I will also be having a free draw (no minimum spend required - one entry per order) for some SU stash (30 6x6 papers in the pic below and a goodie bag like the one above!) for all orders placed in september too so there are a lot of reasons for getting that order in! You can still order from the mini catalogue too up until the end of September, but again products that are being discontinued may sell fast!

Butterflies and Clouds, Birthday Wishes

I think this is my fave SU card so far!!

The butterflies are stamped in Real red using the flight of the butterfly stamp set and punched using the co-ordinating punch

The greeting is also stamped in Real Red using my fave greetings stamp from a set that often gets over looked - Wow flowers, its all the way near the back of the catalogue on pg 77

and the clouds are from the cute, sunny day simply scrappin kit on pg 78

I have neglected my stampin up blog for several reasons but the main one is that my internet connection is really bad at the moment and we are awaiting a for new ISP to come and swap us over!

Flutterby Butterfly...

This is the first card i have made with my new Flight of the Butterfly stamp set

Supplies:
Flight of the butterfly stamps set - pg 43
Stampin' Up! inks in various colours - pg 72-73
Stampin' Up! craft and rubber scissors - pg 90 - i must add these are the best and sharpest scissors i have ever used (i did manage to cut my finger open quite badly the first time i used them - but it does prove how sharp they are!)

I cut the butterflies out and folded in half, when it came to gluing them i gut popped a dot of PVA to the fold so they kept their 3D shape!

I was really pleased with how this card turned out, i was asked to do an 18th bithday card but the recipient was in no way a girly girl!

Virtual Hostess :: Stampers 6

I am starting a new club, which i hope will start in March (depending on numbers!)

If I can get 8 people then I will run a Stampers 8 but at the moment I am setting it as a Stampers 6 club.

So how does it work?

I need 6 ladies to join the club who commit to spending a minimum of £25 a month plus PandP for 6 months as i said this will hopefully start in January and run through until August

Each month one of the 6 members will be classed as the "virtual hostess" for that month and will receive freebies which include a Level 1 stamp set and £15 to spend on goodies of their choice from the catalogue. As the club is running for 6 months each month a different member will be the hostess so each member gets a turn at being the hostess and getting the fabby freebies! Being the virtual hostess simply means you get the freebies that month, it doesnt mean you actually have to host a workshop!

As part of the club you will receive a free Stampin Up catalogue at the start and any further mini catalogues that might appear during the club run. We will also have some little prize draws during the duration of the club!

As a extra special thank you, anyone who joins my group will receive a free stampin up goodie bag - this is not a stampin up offer, I am offering it personally as a thank you for joining!
I am also holding a little draw at the end of the group for a free stamp set too - yes i know its freebies galore!

Fast, Festive Sweetie Bags!

I made these little sweetie bags for a craft fair I did just before Christmas - I mad loads of them, all from scraps of card from my scraps box!!

They didn't last long, i took them to a fair at a school and a teacher brought nearly all of them before the doors opened as little gifts for her class!

My favourite scallop punch again, it really is great for everything!

A Very Sweet Thank You Gift...

Some of you may already know that I work in a school (Especially if you have followed me here from my general craft blog) and since i have been there i have taken on a special job from my boss (the Head Teacher!) the special job it to make christmas thank you gifts for all of the staff (50) on a tight budget!

Behold this years effort!

I found these very yummy and pretty sweets in Lidl, they looked quite cheery!

I popped 4 sweeties in a cello bag, tied with ribbon and attached a little tag, the words were printed on the computer and punched using the small tag punch (pg 88) It was great as i just turned the punch over and lined the message up before punching so quick and simple!! Another good thing about the tag punch is that it does not punch a hole so you can punch a normal one or use a shaped punch for a special twist! You can also layer the 2 differnt size tags on top of each other for some added luxury!

Christmas Girft :: Sweetie Jars...

These Jars are so cute! I filled them with retro sweeties like pear drops, cola cubes and cola bottles - all my families favourites!

They are actually spice jars from ikea but are the perfect size to be adorned with my favourite punch!!

I am going to do another batch of these as eater gifts, i have my eye on the little bunny from the forest friends set (pg39) and the eater wishes stamp from the Occasional Greetings set (pg25) to decorate them with a fill them with some scrummy little eggs!
Sorry for the easter talk...but if it is good enough for the supermarkets!

Snowman Poop...

I made a big batch of this lovely poop, it went down a treat with my family!!

I have used normal and chocolate marshmellows, they are the mini ones you use for cooking, they were a batgain at 69p for a large bag and make a great treat! You could use some chocholate covered nuts or rasins or even yoghurt coved fruit for a healthier option!

Packaging was printed on the computer and yes, its my favourite scalloped punch again! It is just the perfect Seal!

Some Little Christmas Gifts...Teabags!

I love this little stamp, it looks so nice dressed up with some flat backed jems and it takes seconds...which is great as i stamped 25 of them!

The trees are stamped with old olive ink and are from the fun and fast notes set (pg 38 of the catalogue)
When i got this set the words were attached to the bottom of the images but i snipped them off with my rubber scissors(before your remove the bit that covers the sticky) and then mounted the words on the edge of the wooden block so i could stamp the words and images seperately - giving me 16 stamps really! This way you can stamp the words, the image or both together if wanted!

The stamped and decorated images were mounted on a die cut bos, which contained 2 tea bags, i printed the little peom on the computer

A great gift for people you don't get to see over the festive period!

Christmas Cards Using My Fave Punch!

Just a couple of photos of a pair of christmas cards i made using my fave scalloped circle punch I must have used this punch literally thousands of times, it is good for everything and really is one of my craft tools i just could not live without!

I have been so busy over Christmas that i do have a few Christmassy things to blog

This is my new blog that i am launching purely for my stampin' up projects!
